How to use

Place: Set the havan cup into the ceramic holder provided.

Light: Light one edge of the cup with a medium flame or match.

Blow out: Once the edge is burning evenly, blow the flame out and let it smoulder.

Position: Place the holder on a heat-resistant surface in a mid to large room for a steady spread of fragrance.

Care & Tips:
Never pick up the cup directly during or after burning — always handle it in the ceramic holder, and let it cool completely before emptying.

Safety & Precautions

For home fragrance use only. Not edible - do not consume.

Never leave a burning cup unattended, and keep well away from curtains, paper, bedding and anything flammable. Do not burn near a fan, heat pump vent or open window draught.

Always burn in the supplied ceramic holder on a heat-resistant surface. The cup and holder become hot and stay hot after burning.

Use in a well-ventilated room. All incense produces smoke and fine particulate - those with asthma, COPD or other respiratory sensitivity should ventilate generously or avoid use.

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Birds are especially sensitive to smoke - do not burn in a room with birds.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, keep exposure brief and the room well ventilated.

Extinguish fully and allow to cool before disposal. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Certificate + Authenticity

To verify that a herb is authentic it is issued with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) which contains tests (heavy metals/safety/identification) done on every batch of herb manufacturing. E.g Amla COA or Ashwagandha COA. COAs for every herb are available via email request.

Please note shilajit cannot be claimed as organic as it's not cultivated by humans, it's extracted from special shilajit rocks which is only produced by nature. Shilajit can only be tested for heavy metals which we have done in a Eurofins Laboratory (document is available here)

What exactly is a havan cup?

It's a small pressed cup of natural incense that burns as a whole unit rather than a stick or cone. Havan is the traditional fire ritual, and this is a modern take on it — you light the rim, let it smoulder, and the whole cup releases fragrance evenly. No bamboo stick, no ash trail down your sideboard.

How is this different from Phool's incense cones?

Cones are smaller, burn for around 30–35 minutes, and give a gentler thread of fragrance. Havan cups are denser and burn more intensely, filling a room much faster — closer to a ritual or reset than background ambiance. Most people use cones for daily burning and havan cups for puja, meditation, or clearing a space.

What does it smell like?

Warm, woody and dry — the classic chandan note, with a soft resinous depth from the acacia and coconut shell. It's grounding rather than sweet, and there's no synthetic fragrance added. The scent comes from the ingredients themselves and settles into the room rather than sitting sharply in the air.

How long does one cup burn?

Roughly 10–20 minutes depending on airflow in the room. It fills a mid-sized space with fragrance within about the first 10 minutes, and the scent lingers well after the cup has gone out.

Do I need a special holder?

The ceramic holder is included in the box, and you should use it. The cup gets genuinely hot and stays hot after burning — the holder is what lets you move it safely and protects the surface underneath. Don't burn the cup directly on a plate, tile or table.
